DYSLEXIAAs a qualified teacher of dyslexics, I can offer help and assessment at all stages:Particularly to those pupils whose needs are not sufficiently urgent to receive help at school. These boys and girls are often overlooked but a little help can raise their grades and improve their confidence tremendously. EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENTIf you are concerned that your son or daughter may not be achieving as well as they should be, I can offer a preliminary educational assessment of literacy and reasoning skills. This can alert parents of the need to take further action. This may be simply informing the school of your concerns and enquiring what support is already being offered, to arranging some private tutoring or (in a few cases) organising a full assessment by an educational psychologist.
